Head Coach - James Bamfield
Returning as head coach for his 8th year.

6 - Ryan Plaice - 5ft 10in
Position: PG
Info: Joined the club at the tender age of 11 and played at under 16 national league level. Recently selected to East of England under 18 squad and by the end of 07/08 season was starting PG for both Div 1 and 4 squads!

7 - Erik Alisauskas 6ft 4
Position: sf
Lithuanian Erik spent the end of last season as part of the training squad while he acclimatised to the UK before signing on for the new season ahead. An all action, high energy player who can dribble pass and shoot to a high level Eric promises to be a firm fan favourite.

8 - Patrick Manifold - 6ft 8
Position: PF
Info: At only 22 long and athletic forward Patrick is a 5 year veteran of National League and has played at every level with the club. Last season Pat started to establish himself as one of the teams main contributors and having worked hard over the summer will be relied on to produce at both ends of the floor.

9 - Daryl Watson - 6ft
Position: SG
Info: Joined the club as a junior at just 10 and was actually team mascot when the club played in the peterborough cup final. Represented the club in under 15 national league competition and last season played 8 games for the Division 4 squad.

10 - Ashley Manning - 6ft 4in
Position: PF/C
Info: Only took up the game at 15 but came through the College program to start in Division 4 and establish himself as a key player for Division 1 by the age of 20.

11 - Grzegorz Dziarnowski 6ft
Position: PG
Greg who moved to King's Lynn from Poland was initially signed for last years division 4 team but due to problems with international clearance was unable to play. With those issues resolved Greg will bring solid play at the point and the ability to hit the outside shot.

13 - James Bamfield (Capt) - 6ft
Position: SG
Info: A product of the excellent Sheffield Arrows junior program under Pete Kelly part of under 18 squad that finished 3rd nationally. Played 1 year with Chester Jets in BBL before 2 seasons with Arrows in Division 3 including championship season. Moved to Northampton Neptunes for 1 season before founding Fury basketball club. Led Div 2 and 3 in scoring while gaining back to back promotions and taking a trip to the Patrons cup final. Helped the club maintain Division 1 status for 3 years while averaging 15 ppg.

14 - Luke Simon 6ft 5
Position: SF/PF
Another player who has come through the Fury system representing the club at under 15 national league, division 4 men and before injury last sason started 6 games at centre for the Division 1 squad, while also being selected for East of England at under 18 level. A tough hard nosed defender and excellent rebounder, luke also shoots the ball well from 15 feet.

15 - Wayne Gibbs - 6ft 4
Position: C
Info: A 6 year veteran for the club who has appeared at every level of National league competition with the Fury. Wayne will bring much needed leadership and experience to the squad. Wayne has also been appointed as team captain.

We will be interested to hear from players based within travelling distance of King's lynn who are interested in competing at national league level during the 08/09 season. We are still especially looking for extra height so any big men who want to compete at the top level get in touch.

16 - 19 yr olds 21.3.08 - 30.4.08
We will be continuing our link with the College of West Anglia and are keen to hear from players aged 16 - 19 who would be interested in combining basketball at a high level with their studies. Players will have 4 practices a week + Gym use and help with accomodation is often available through the college.

13 - 16 yr olds 21.3.08 - 30.4.08
As stated earlier a key goal for our club is to develop this age range through national competition. We are keen to ensure we have the very best player from the eastern region (Cambridge, peterborough and Norfolk) within our junior program. Their are 2 age group practices per week and more gifted individuals may be invited to train with the senior team.
